What we offer

Every part of the day, thoughtfully cared for.

From the morning welcome to the evening ride home, each of our services is built around comfort, dignity, and friendship.

Attentive daily care

Trained, caring staff stay close from morning to evening. They lend a hand when it helps, and step back when independence matters more.

Health monitoring

We check in on wellness every day, keep up with medication reminders, and tell families right away if something seems off.

Fresh, balanced meals

Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are cooked daily, with menus shaped by dietary needs and the flavors of home.

Social activities

Games, music, crafts, celebrations, and long conversations fill the day. The friendships are the real program.

Gentle exercise & wellness

Light movement and stretching, matched to each person's ability and energy on any given day.

Door-to-door transportation

Our van picks everyone up in the morning and brings them home in the evening, so families never have to worry about the trip.

A day at Hiawatha

The path through a good day.

Every day follows the same gentle rhythm as the path in our logo: a warm welcome in, good hours in the middle, and a safe ride home.

Early morning

Warm welcomes & breakfast

The van pulls up, the coffee is ready, and friends settle in together over a fresh breakfast.

Mid morning

Activities & conversation

Games, music, crafts, and conversation circles. Everyone joins in at their own pace.

Late morning

Gentle movement & rest

Light stretching and wellness routines, then quiet time with a comfortable chair, a snack, and a good chat.

Midday

A fresh lunch, together

A balanced, home-style meal shared around the table, seasoned with the tastes of our community.

Afternoon

The ride home

Everyone heads home safely, right to the door, and families hear how the day went.

Our community

Less like a facility, more like family.

Our home is Franklin Avenue, one of the most vibrant and diverse corners of Minneapolis. Elders from many backgrounds gather here to share meals, stories, music, and traditions.

  • A warm, respectful place for elders of every culture and language
  • Meals and celebrations that carry the traditions of our neighbors
  • Real rest for family caregivers, with no guilt and no worry
Care. Connect. Community. It's written on our logo because it's how we run every single day.
